In 2017, he received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. In order to receive this award, Dr. Sardina completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuing membership with the AGD. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Sardina has joined an elite group of dentists who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. The Fellowship Award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Sardina enjoys watching his Temple Owls compete in Basketball and Football. He also enjoys running, Crossfit and spending time with his wife Erin, and their daughters 3 children; Addie, Charlie, and JT.

Rob Waldrop

Dr. Waldrop was born in West Virginia and grew up in the small town of Danville, PA.  When he observed a root canal procedure at the age of twelve, he set his sights on becoming a dentist, albeit in a less-than-direct route.  He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  Upon graduation, he obtained a job as a dental assistant at a federally qualified health center prior to earning his Master of Science in Biology from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania.  His thesis on REM-like sleep states in the common cuttlefish Sepia officinalis was published in the Public Library of Science.  After graduate school, Dr. Waldrop worked as a chemist and microbiologist for two years at a chemical manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA and spent another year as a scientist in quality control at a major pharmaceutical company in Marietta, PA.  His dental school training led him back to West Virginia where he graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.  When he graduated from dental school, he chose to complete an optional year of advanced training in General Practice Residency at the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA.

Dr. Waldrop has been committed to public health since his time as a dental assistant.  He believes he has a responsibility to provide ethical dental treatment to everyone.  Oral health is correlated with overall systemic health and he will do what he can to improve the lives of others.  During dental school, he participated in a dental mission trip to San Lucas, Guatemala as well as Mission of Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA.  Dr. Waldrop is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of the office, Dr. Waldrop enjoys playing the piano and cello.  He also enjoys building LEGO sets, listening to classical music, film scores, and studying the physics and engineering of roller coasters.

Dr. Husam

Dr. Husam graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then attended Temple University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with the distinction of cum laude. He developed an interest in teaching while working as a tutor there, and is always happy to mentor anyone considering the field of dentistry.

Dr. Husam speaks Arabic and is currently learning Spanish to assist patients from different cultures and backgrounds. He strives to treat everyone fairly and make them feel comfortable. Dr. Husam holds the firm belief that everyone has something to give, no matter how old they are or where they come from, and he always enjoys learning from his patients, as well as leaving them with knowledge on how to care for their oral health. Patients should feel comfortable and safe coming to the dentist to take care of their oral health, and they should not feel ashamed about it, no matter their issues. After all, the essential step to fixing a problem is admitting there is one and seeking help to start fixing it.

Outside the office, Dr. Husam enjoys playing sports such as soccer, volleyball, and tennis, exercising, spending time with family and friends, visiting parks, investing, watching and reading comedy, and trying or learning new things.

Lysa Adams

Dr. Allysa (Lysa) Adams is thrilled to be home in Pennsylvania to practice dentistry! Like her parents
and grandparents, she is a native Pennsylvanian, born and raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. In college, she moved east to New Jersey to study Molecular Biology at Princeton University. She then moved to Boston and earned a Master’s Degree in Genetics at Harvard University, where she studied craniofacial development at Boston Children’s Hospital. After earning her DMD at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, she completed further training in general dentistry and community health through the Lutheran Medical Center AEGD residency program in Boston.

Dr. Adams believes that dentists have a social responsibility to serve the communities in which they
live. She believes that oral health is a critical component of overall health, and that dentistry is both a science and an art. Her goal is to treat her patients with honesty and kindness, and to help them
achieve their own goals regarding the look and feel of their smiles.

Dr. Adams moved to Lancaster with her husband, who joined the faculty of Franklin & Marshall
College as an Assistant Professor of Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys painting, hiking,
cooking, and spending time with their much-loved dog, Reuben.
